What is WinxPAC?
WinxPAC – Short for Windows Xentry PC based Automation Controller. That is, the PC automatic control technology based on Windows operating system developed by CLESCRANE and our partners. It is a software, hardware and solution platform with functions of PLC logic control, HMI and SCADA data acquisition and monitoring, motion control, numerical control and machine vision.
How does WinxPAC running and programming?
WinxPAC is an automation software based on Windows embedded operating system, RTOS (Real Time Operation System) real-time operating system and x86 processor standard industrial PC and real-time Ethernet protocol EtherCAT. The development environment and programming language use the CODESYS platform conforming to the IEC 61131-3 standard programming language, and the built-in C/C++ advanced compiled language programming supports the MATLAB/Simulink development environment.
What are the functions and features of WinxPAC?
The industrial PC installed with WinxPAC software becomes a real-time PAC controller. It has unified programming language, unified local and remote data management, built-in PCI/PCIe local bus and compatible with most field bus protocol drivers, abundant application libraries, open third-party application software environment and independent of any hardware manufacturer- Standard hardware platform and software platform.
Thanks to the use of standard hardware, standard software and general-purpose protocols for mass production, COTS (commercial off-the-shelf and technology) can be used to replace various types of dedicated controllers from various manufacturers such as PLC, HMI/SCADA, and motion controllers, CNC systems and smart cameras, etc. And WinxPAC can also realize the intelligent, digital and other Internet of Things functions such as database, remote connection and diagnosis that are difficult to implement with dedicated controllers at a low cost.
WinxPAC uses an optimized Intel network controller driver to ensure fast and highly accurate distributed clocking via EtherCAT, with less than 100μs and less than 0.1μs cycle time on 100 servo axes (WinxPAC can control up to 255 servo axes) Jitter, usually means high speed machining accuracy of less than 1 μm. Particularly suitable for industrial automation, especially for high-speed and high-precision machining of motion control and CNC systems. At the same time, even the low-end servo drive system can achieve high-speed, high-precision motion control, greatly improving the performance of the servo system, which is far from the traditional analog signal and pulse signal. At the same time, it can have 200 16-bit analogs at 20 kHz sampling rate and 12,000 distributed digital I/O in 350 μs. A WinxPAC address can connect up to 65,535 nodes. It can be any distributed I/O module, servo driver, frequency converter, encoder or controller that supports EtherCAT protocol by any third party. It does not need to set any node address manually. In physical level, network cards, network ports, switches, cables, connectors and so on are also completely based on standard Ethernet hardware.
